| Overseer How To: Pausing a Resource |
If you have a resource defined within Overseer that you wish to temporarily stop monitoring, it can be "Paused". This will prevent Overseer from checking the resource until you re-enable it.
- To pause a resource, first find the resource you wish to pause in the Overseer console.
- When found, right click on the resource and select "Pause Monitoring"

- To re-enable a resource, right click on the resource and select "Pause Monitoring" a second time. This will re-enable the resource.
- When a resource is paused, the Overseer console will note that the resource is inactive in the "Current State" column.
- You can also pause a resource by editing the settings. To do this, find the resource and double click on it to open the details.
- Select the "Monitoring" section of the resource and un-check the "Active" check-box. This will pause the resource. Re-check the check-box to re-enable monitoring of the resource.
