Hide Unused Resource Types: This option hides resource types that you do not use on a per-group basis. This means that if you have a group with no EM1 resource types, you won't see the EM1 resource type in the tree on the left. This saves screen real estate and makes things easier to navigate. You can always add resources of any type using the File->New Resource option.
