This version of Overseer Network Monitor fixes a bug that would cause an occasional”object reference not set to an object” error. This was pointed out by a helpful user that sent us an Email. If you’re experiencing any kind of error, please be sure to contact us so we can fix it.

With all the spam Email these days, more and more SMTP servers are requiring login to their SMTP servers for sending any Email. Rather than sending these usernames and passwords over the internet in plain text, most require TLS/SSL to be used to encrypt this information.
In this version of Overseer Network Monitoring Software, I’ve added support for TLS/SSL authentication on the SMTP relay server. This also allows you to specify the port, in case your mail server uses a non-standard port.
